Te Wai Takamori Project Disruption Feedback

Please provide comments on the disrution to your business caused by the Te Wai Takamori (Riverlink) project.

We would also value your suggestions for improvements or mitigations to redice the imact of these disruptions.

Finally, let us know if you have any questions that you would like the Council to answer.

How has the current or upcoming works affected your business or organisation?

Please provide practical ideas such as:

  • More night or off‑peak works
  • Reduced cumulative disruption across the wider city
  • Parking measures to offset impacts (e.g. free or discounted parking)
  • Clearer expectations around the length and severity of disruption – “when will it get better?”

Questions you would like SEBG to raise on behalf of businesses. Common questions raised so far include:

  • Why are night works not being used more extensively?
  • Is there a hardship or mitigation fund available for affected businesses?

Questions will be collated and shared, along with responses, so all members have access to the same information.

Feedback can be high‑level. All responses will be treated confidentially, with impacts and themes reported in aggregate and without naming businesses.
